Malta And Dutch Regulators Signed An Agreement To Prevent Gambling Crimes
The announcement about the cooperation between the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and the Dutch Gambling Authority Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) has recently appeared in gambling news and articles.
The MGA and KSA have reached an agreement called a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that is aimed at eliminating the number of crimes committed within their gambling markets. Both regulators will support each other and work together to detect and annihilate the cases of unlawful activities in the industry.
What will regulators do under the agreement?
According to the memorandum, the authorities will collaborate to share useful information as well as the most efficient solutions, which may help to put an end to illegal activities in gambling. In addition to this, the parties are obliged to enter into discussions connected with the problem.
They will also develop new regulations that will help to protect players from gambling addiction and cease the damage caused by it. In general, this agreement serves the interests of the gambling markets of both countries. As they have common goals, the partnership is the best way to achieve a transparent market where criminality will be absent to the full extent. Discussion of such problems at the international level allows regulators to implement practices created by other countries.
